Council has installed Automated External Defibrillators at the Town Hall and the Library in Daylesford. These AEDs will be accessible at any time of the day or night. More 24/7 accessible AED installations are planned for other parts of the Shire in coming months.

Daylesford’s State Emergence Service is an all-volunteer group which manages the emergency response to storms, floods, and earthquakes. It also assists with motor vehicle accidents, search and rescue and with major bushfire events. And all this with a current membership of only 20 volunteers.
