Daylesford has lost a remarkable and well-known character with the death of John Bohn. John was the Daylesford pharmacist and later a practicing hypnotherapist but his many and varied roles in the community included the swimming club, Rotary, U3A, the Friends of Cornish Hill and the Daylesford Regional Visitor Information Centre.

Both the Central Highlands Football League and the Central Highlands Netball league have abandoned their planned finals because of ongoing COVID restrictions. There were no premierships for Daylesford or Hepburn but many teams from both clubs finished second on their respective ladders.
